Q: Are you food and/or Pharma approved?
A:Yes, and this is reflected in our 5-year Superior rating achievement with the American Institute of Baking (AIB). We are regularly audited and rated by:
  • AIB (American Institute of Baking)
  • ACTS Labs
  • HEALTH CANADA: Health Products and Food Branch
  • CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency)
Econopac maintains the following pharmaceutical licenses:
  • HEALTH CANADA: Establishment License: Package/Label
  • HEALTH CANADA: Class A Precursor License (for packaging of controlled substances)
We are also an FDA Registered Food Facility.

Q: We need packing for direct food contact. Are you equipped for this ?
A: Yes all our packaging films are FDA approved for direct food contact. Many types of over wrap films are available including films with odour and flavour barriers.

Q: My order must cross the border? Any problem with that?  

A: Certainly not. We are very familiar with cross border logistics and have been ensuring quick, hassle free trans-border shipments for years.

Q: How quickly can you take care of my packing? I typically need it immediately.  
A: With 15 high-speed flow wrappers and 6 regular wrappers, our turn-over ranks among the highest in the industry. We have a wealth of experience dealing with rush projects. Let's talk about your specific needs.

Q: I'm on a budget. How can you help control costs?
A: 20 years of expertise go to work on your challenges and insure everything happens as planned. That includes staying on budget. But don't leave it to the last minute. Contact us early so we can react in the best way.

Q: I have unusual shaped/sized merchandise.Will this be a problem?
A: Give us your problem, we'll give you back a solution. It's starts with a pre-production meeting. We have used our expertise to solve numerous unique challenges. So don't worry, we'll get the job done!

Q: What is the difference between Bulk packing, Tray packing and Bandoleer packing?
A: Bulk packing refers to loose packing in a box. It is also known as scatter packing or fluff packing and is ideal for giveaways.

Tray Packing puts the merchandise neatly in trays, which is great for automated insertion.

Bandoleer packing puts the merchandise into a string, allowing for automated insertion.

Q: Can we tip multiple units on a single insert?

A: Yes, given the proper design we can have up to three units on a single insert.
